Korra

So I haven't uploaded anything in a little while... That hasn't meant I haven't been drawing, I have probably been drawing more than ever. All my work has been in my sketchbook and because it isn't easy to scan my sketchbook and because they are all sketches they haven't been uploaded here.

I have always wanted to paint something in photoshop and surprise myself. Every painting I have done in photoshop up until now has either looked unfinished or I haven't been happy with the base lines of the piece and I think that really came through in my work. This time I was a lot happier with the lines on paper, although I did have to make a few minor tweaks. I have learned a lot in a short space of time and I learned a lot more while painting this.

I am particularly happy because Korra looks more like Korra. My last digital piece of her was not Korra - she looked too old, she was too bulky, it just wasn't right. I think and hope that this piece captures more of who Korra is and maybe some of her personality.

I think there might be a possibility of a background for this in the future, not sure what I would do but I'm sure I'll figure out something.
